“Ghosts of Rome” is an ongoing project of prints in which I explore the ghost stories of Rome’s folklore, accurately selected and researched along the years.
Far from the gothic standards of northern european literature and folklore, Rome’s ghost stories are an etherogeneous group of figures, some melancholic, some exuberant, some unfathomable, all of which found its doom in the “eternal city” while coming from all over the world.
